Evenings in Quito

Hi Everyone!
Mugs will always be there to inspire me.
This one has done just that. I absolutely love the bold red colour and the pattern on this mug. It's fresh and vibrant, but manages to look modern and avoids tackiness. This would be a great mug for tea on a cold (or warm) day. It would also spruce up your kitchen and add more colour and character to it! You can purchase this at Anthropologie.

Sissinghurst Castle

Hi Everyone!
As my obsession with mugs goes on, I really appreciate the art of this one.
Everything from the form to the design and handle are just so well put together and I would love to have this to put tea in. It has a slight bit of sophistication while still being fun with the vibrant colours. I love that the handle and the base are forest green (as I love green) because it also makes you think that it represents the stem of the flowers. You can find this at Anthropologie.

Rainbow Row

Hey Everyone!
I've always loved colour and quirky patterns, so that's why I had to blog about this particular dress!
I really love all the bright and fun buildings that this dress has! This is a perfect casual dress that could suit lots of occasions. What makes this dress unique is that it's not your typical floral fabric. Don't get me wrong- I love florals, but this is a nice change. This dress would look awesome for a lunch with your friends, walk through the park, or semi-formal birthday party. You can find this at Modcloth.

Abstract Floral

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!
Well, if you're reading this in the morning then I guess it would be a day after....but anyways, to celebrate this day, I've decided to come to you today with a very pinky post!
I really love scarves for the Spring because they add a nice touch to your outfit while still being lightweight. You also add more colour and interest to your overall look and there are so many scarves you can choose from! I love this one in particular because I really like the pink colour and the very subtle print that it has. I think this scarf would look awesome wearing it out for a walk, at school or to the mall. You can purchase this at Forever 21.

Pinwheel Push Pins

Hey Readers!
I have a bulliten board and find that it's great for expressing yourself all in one place through pictures, words, or decorations.
These pins are really unique because they're so colourful and cute! I love that they'll add little spunk to your room and that pins don't always need to be boring and ugly. I think they would add a fun touch when tacking up your pictures. I love these and would snatch them up right away if I were you! You can find this at Anthropologie

Painted Filigree Drop Earrings

Hey Everyone!
I love anything that looks vintage but still classy.
I really like these even though I wouldn't normally wear them because I usually like smaller, and more simple earrings. The mint mixed with the gold is the prettiest combo I've seen and I love that there's an intricate, tarnished design while still being classy and simple. I think these would be really nice to wear to a dinner, concert or any semi-formal, but casual event. You can find these at Forever 21.

Malin Cirkel

Hi Everyone!
From recent posts, you may know that I'm a fabric fanatic, and love walking into fabric shops.
This particular fabric inspired me with its colours. My three favourite colours are green, purple and blue, so you can't blame me for liking this pattern. I really like that it's a toned down shade of the colours and that they're random splotches which sort of look like paint to me. I think a pillow case out of this would look AMAZING! You can purchase this at Ikea.

Chalkboard Spice Jars

Hello Readers!
Creative and fun little household objects like these make me so happy.
These jars are very useful because they have chalkboard labels on them that can help you label your jars, but in a cute way. I also love that you don't have to use these just for spices and that they can be used for pencils, coins or just random trinkets. I think these would look awesome, sitting on your desk or bookshelf as well as on your kitchen counter. I also really like their colourful lids which just add an extra amount of fun to it. Love these! You can find these at Anthropologie.

Floral Print Leggings

Hey Readers!
I love leggings because they're so much more comfortable to wear compared to jeans.
I've always wanted a pair of floral leggings but always question if they're going to look weird on me. I thought these were pretty for the Spring since I basically love anything floral print. I love that they have a black base so the colours of the flowers are very vibrant. Wearing these with a neutral shirt and pair of boots will make your outfit a lot more interesting! These would be awesome for a walk in the park, a day at school, or trip to the mall. You can find these at Forever 21.

With a Twist Teacup

Hey Readers!
As you may know, I absolutely love mugs, so I couldn't help but blog about these beauties!
These cute teacups are unique because of their lively and bright patterns that make you smile when you see them. I love their form and that they're not your average, white teacup. I would personally use these on a regular, daily basis (not just for tea). Though, the fact that I do like drinking tea makes these teacups even better. The floral design on them make them perfect for Spring and Summer and they are sure to brighten up your kitchen! You can purchase these at Anthropologie.

Striped Boyfriend Cardigan

Hey Readers!
Cardigans are my LIFE. I wear them every chance I get just because of the versatility of them. You can pair any shirt or any tank with cardigans, while still keeping warm!
I love this cardigan because I've always wanted a cream/beige coloured cardigan, but the bright neon pink stripes add a lot more colour to it- perfect for Springtime! I especially like the big buttons and pairing this with a neutral top like the picture above, would look best. I think this would look amazing with shorts and you could wear this look practically anywhere! You can find this at Forever 21.

Farmers Market Baskets

Hi Everyone!
Summer's coming soon (or am I just too excited?) and when I see these baskets, they bring back so many memories of a summer farmer's market!
I really love that these look like the classic fruit baskets but are actually stoneware. I think these would be so cute to just have on your desk as a place to put stationary such as sticky notes, pens, tape, or even craft supplies. These would be especially festive in the Summer and you could use these as gift baskets and fill them with a lot of small gifts, wrap them up nicely and give them to your friend or family member for their birthday! You can find these at Anthropologie.

Neon Strap Wedge Sandals

Hey Everyone!
Recently I've really been loving the things that Forever 21 has for Springtime, so you may be seeing a lot of posts about products from there.
This shoe really caught my attention because of the pop of neon colour that it has on the back. I really like that it's a neutral colour for the rest of the shoe and has a small heel to make it a little more dressy. The buckle adds more character to the shoe and the criss cross pattern makes it more fun. This is the perfect shoe for a summer dinner, concert or lunch with your friends. You can purchase this at Forever 21

Dipped Wood Box

Hi Everyone!
Pops of colours excite me and make things more interesting and fun. That us why this caught my eye!
I especially like this wooden box because you could use this for a variety of things. You could have it on your desk and put pencils and markers in it. You could also use it for a cookie or coin jar! There's so many possibilities on how to use this. The box will spice up your room and add more colour to it. Perfect for Spring! You can purchase this at Urban Outfitters

Together and Apartment

Hey Everyone!
I love quirky prints, so this dress definitely caught my eye.
The unique thing about this dress is that it is made out of apartment fabric!! It's just so fun that it blows my mind. The soft pastel colours make it perfect for Spring and the pattern really makes people do a double take, because at first glance, it just looks like a really colourful dress. Because of this print, you can wear this to more casual occasions like a brunch out with your friends, to the mall, or even to a casual dinner. You can find this dress at Modcloth.

Seams Like Yesterday

Hey Readers!
As you know, I've been loving green and am excited to go Spring shopping and pick up a lot of pieces that include green!

This dress is a really nice army green colour, which is honestly my favourite shade ever. I love this shade because it's not too bright, but it's still subtle while being colourful at the same time. This features a high neckline and is flared out. I think this would look amazing for a more dressy lunch, concert or for more formal occasions! You can purchase this at Modcloth.

Teal Twirl

Hey Readers!
Teal is one of my favourite colours...unless I look at it for too long, which then makes me think it looks tacky. But other than that, I love teal. It's a pretty mixture of green and blue, leaning more towards green.
So you have probably noticed that I love dresses with any kind of flared skirt and that's true! I do love the flared look, not those totally straight dresses that look extremely uncomfortable. It's bright and happy- perfect for Spring, while still being a little neutral, because of the darker colour. This would look great on anyone going to a semi-formal event, but could also be dressed down by adding a casual cardigan on top. You can purchase this on Modcloth

Shoreline Soiree

Hey Readers!
Surprises always excite me, though unfortunately not that many happen in my daily life.
The reason I was drawn to this dress was because of its classic design, but with a twist. I was shocked by the berry trim, but adored it at the same time. This dress seems so conservative when you first glance at it, but when you see the pop of colour, it gives it a fun vibe which makes it so unique. This would look amazing if you wore it to a semi-formal event. You can purchase this at Modcloth.

Mini Latte Bowls

Hey Everyone!
During January and February seems to be very long for me with the overcast sky and cold air. This is why I like to have brighter colours surrounding me, to brighten my mood.
These bowls are perfect for scoops of icecream, yogurt, small portions of cereal and snacks. They're bright, fun, and have a tapered form. I love that they are small, but large enough to have a good amount of food. These can be used throughout the year, not necessarily just for Summer and Spring. Use these in the colder months just to cheer you up! You can find these at Anthropologie.

Coral Concert

Hey readers!
I love bright colours in the warmer months because that's what makes clothes exciting and interesting to look at. They are also proven to boost your energy and make you happier, which is always a plus!
This dress caught my eye right away due to it's colour. High necklines are amazing in my opinion because they make a colourful dress look more classy. This dress has a see-through chiffon layer on top which adds a lighter and casual feel to it. I also love the silver bow belt on it which breaks up the bright colour (and who doesn't love bows?) You can never go wrong with red and I think it would look awesome on any skin tone. You can find this dress at Modcloth.
