Pleated Polka Dots

Hi Readers!
I love polka dots, especially for Spring!
I love that this dress has a solid colour on the top and the pattern on the bottom. I especially like the contrasting bow belt which is like the cherry on top! This is a perfect dress for Spring and Summer and would look great for a party, dinner, or any semi-formal event! You can purchase this at Forever 21.

Rainbow Row

Hey Everyone!
I've always loved colour and quirky patterns, so that's why I had to blog about this particular dress!
I really love all the bright and fun buildings that this dress has! This is a perfect casual dress that could suit lots of occasions. What makes this dress unique is that it's not your typical floral fabric. Don't get me wrong- I love florals, but this is a nice change. This dress would look awesome for a lunch with your friends, walk through the park, or semi-formal birthday party. You can find this at Modcloth.

Puttin' on the Spritz

Hi Everyone!
Mint has been my staple colour that I always seem to gravitate to, for the past year. This colour is perfect for Spring!
This dress is really fun and casual with the colours that this dress has. I love the fun print and the small belt that stitches in the dress and adds a contrast colour. The gold buttons on the top add more interest to the overall look. The boats make this perfect for a Summer walk on the beach, a lunch with your friends or a picnic in the park. You can purchase this at Modcloth.

Together and Apartment

Hey Everyone!
I love quirky prints, so this dress definitely caught my eye.
The unique thing about this dress is that it is made out of apartment fabric!! It's just so fun that it blows my mind. The soft pastel colours make it perfect for Spring and the pattern really makes people do a double take, because at first glance, it just looks like a really colourful dress. Because of this print, you can wear this to more casual occasions like a brunch out with your friends, to the mall, or even to a casual dinner. You can find this dress at Modcloth.

Seams Like Yesterday

Hey Readers!
As you know, I've been loving green and am excited to go Spring shopping and pick up a lot of pieces that include green!

This dress is a really nice army green colour, which is honestly my favourite shade ever. I love this shade because it's not too bright, but it's still subtle while being colourful at the same time. This features a high neckline and is flared out. I think this would look amazing for a more dressy lunch, concert or for more formal occasions! You can purchase this at Modcloth.

Teal Twirl

Hey Readers!
Teal is one of my favourite colours...unless I look at it for too long, which then makes me think it looks tacky. But other than that, I love teal. It's a pretty mixture of green and blue, leaning more towards green.
So you have probably noticed that I love dresses with any kind of flared skirt and that's true! I do love the flared look, not those totally straight dresses that look extremely uncomfortable. It's bright and happy- perfect for Spring, while still being a little neutral, because of the darker colour. This would look great on anyone going to a semi-formal event, but could also be dressed down by adding a casual cardigan on top. You can purchase this on Modcloth

Shoreline Soiree

Hey Readers!
Surprises always excite me, though unfortunately not that many happen in my daily life.
The reason I was drawn to this dress was because of its classic design, but with a twist. I was shocked by the berry trim, but adored it at the same time. This dress seems so conservative when you first glance at it, but when you see the pop of colour, it gives it a fun vibe which makes it so unique. This would look amazing if you wore it to a semi-formal event. You can purchase this at Modcloth.

Flight Hearted

Hey Readers!
Now I've already told you about my obsession with birds, so it's not a surprise that I am IN LOVE with this particular dress!
The taupe colour really makes the green and blue birds pop and I don't even find the ribbon necessary, but it still goes well with the design. This is one of my favourite dresses I've ever seen and it looks so lively even though it contains mostly neutral colours. I think this could be worn to a casual event, but also to a formal event. Just switch up your shoes and it could go either way! I love the versatility that this piece has. You can find this at Modcloth.

Swatch and Learn

Hey Everyone!
Now I know what you're thinking...another dress? But yes, dresses actually inspire me a lot just by their fabric, even though I don't own a lot of them.
This dress in particular caught my eye because of the innocent "school-girl" colours. I love how there's a little bit of a billow where the yellow and red meet because that just gives it a more relaxed look. I also like how there's some blue on the bottom to add more interest and I think this would be awesome to wear on a casual day out in the Spring or Summer. Love it, as always! You can purchase this at Modcloth

Coral Concert

Hey readers!
I love bright colours in the warmer months because that's what makes clothes exciting and interesting to look at. They are also proven to boost your energy and make you happier, which is always a plus!
This dress caught my eye right away due to it's colour. High necklines are amazing in my opinion because they make a colourful dress look more classy. This dress has a see-through chiffon layer on top which adds a lighter and casual feel to it. I also love the silver bow belt on it which breaks up the bright colour (and who doesn't love bows?) You can never go wrong with red and I think it would look awesome on any skin tone. You can find this dress at Modcloth.

Fun and Only Dress

Hello everyone!
Now, I'm really loving green this year. It's because, in my eyes, green is a fresh, happy, warm colour that reminds me so much of freshly cut grass on a Spring day. I love the cleanness of the colour and I think I'm going to be buying of clothes in green this year!

Now, I love an in between of light and medium coloured green, like this dress above. I like the neckline and curve of the straps the dress has which adds a uniqueness to it. I especially love the white bow in the middle, stitching in the waist because it adds a touch of Summer to it. White is an awesome Summer colour that never grows old! I can just picture this dress at a fun family reunion picnic. The flare of the bottom of this dress is subtle, which makes it a little more elegant, perfect for a more dressy, but fun occasion. You can find this dress at Modcloth.

Demure and Simple

Hello everyone!
I'm so excited to start posting content on this new blog. I have lots of posts lined up for you to read and basically what they're going to be about are things that I've seen that either inspires me, or makes me happy. That's it. I thought that I could enjoy something like this because what else is better than talking (erm, writing) about something you love?

Today's post is about a dress that I am in love with it! It's a simple, yet fun and cheery, enough to brighten any mood with it's slightly flared bottom and high neckline. I love that it stitches in at the waist, and you could easily add a thin belt to add more character. This dress screams "SPRING!" to me with it's red floral design. Floral patterns are what draw me into stores in the Spring and Summer, because they are just so versatile! Wear this at a dance, party, or day out- it doesn't matter. This dress would look amazing on any day. You can find this at Modcloth.
