Evenings in Quito

Hi Everyone!
Mugs will always be there to inspire me.
This one has done just that. I absolutely love the bold red colour and the pattern on this mug. It's fresh and vibrant, but manages to look modern and avoids tackiness. This would be a great mug for tea on a cold (or warm) day. It would also spruce up your kitchen and add more colour and character to it! You can purchase this at Anthropologie.

Sissinghurst Castle

Hi Everyone!
As my obsession with mugs goes on, I really appreciate the art of this one.
Everything from the form to the design and handle are just so well put together and I would love to have this to put tea in. It has a slight bit of sophistication while still being fun with the vibrant colours. I love that the handle and the base are forest green (as I love green) because it also makes you think that it represents the stem of the flowers. You can find this at Anthropologie.

I really like these because they are personalized to some extent. The handles and the base of the mug  are unique which give it a vintage feel. This would be a great gift to a friend or family member, or this could even be used to hold smaller gifts inside! I would love to have one of these. You can purchase these at Anthropologie.

Handpainted Folk Owl Mug

Hi Readers!
Continuing on with my obsession with owls, when I spotted these mugs I knew I had to make a post!
These colourful owl mugs are great for everyday use and add a little more spunk to your morning cup of tea. The different colours and patterns are especially interesting to look at and have a slight tribal look to them. I love that this is a great conversation starter if you're just meeting someone for the first time. They would also be perfect as a pencil holder or anything else, adding extra decoration for your desk. You can find these at Anthropologie.

With a Twist Teacup

Hey Readers!
As you may know, I absolutely love mugs, so I couldn't help but blog about these beauties!
These cute teacups are unique because of their lively and bright patterns that make you smile when you see them. I love their form and that they're not your average, white teacup. I would personally use these on a regular, daily basis (not just for tea). Though, the fact that I do like drinking tea makes these teacups even better. The floral design on them make them perfect for Spring and Summer and they are sure to brighten up your kitchen! You can purchase these at Anthropologie.

Owl Mug

Hey Everyone!
So birds and mugs are both things I love, so when they're put together, it's just perfect to me.
These mugs are a glossy white mug shaped into an owl and I love that because it's very simple and neutral while being cute at the same time. From far away, it might just look like an irregularly shaped mug, but it's actually a work of art. I love these pieces because they are so versatile and you could use it not just for drinks, but for pencils, eyeliners, or a coin cup. It could be displayed in your bedroom to add a little more character. It's really up to you! You can purchase this at Chapters

Kati Mug

Hi Everyone!
Tea is a great drink to reenergize and calm yourself at the same time. I love drinking it when I'm cold or reading a book. There are so many different kinds of teas but I especially love Vanilla Rooibos!

I love these designs because they're so earthy and natural. Also, since I've confessed my love for the colour green in an earlier post, this is no surprise that I chose these two mugs as my favourites, with "Birdsong" being my favourite. These are 12 oz. ceramic mugs with stainless steel infusers which brew loose leaf tea perfectly. The lid that comes with it keeps the drink warm in case you won't be getting around to drinking it for a while. When I first saw cups like these, I thought that it was an absolute brilliant invention and I still think they are. You can purchase these at Tea Forté.

Homegrown Monogram Mugs

Hi Readers!
You should probably know that I have a little obsession with mugs! I've taken pottery classes and now fully appreciate the art and form of a mug.

I personally LOVE these mugs because the form is really unique. It subtly goes out a little at the middle and has a pretty small handle, but that's why I like it so much. It's different from all the mugs I've seen before and to make a good product you have to be different from everyone else. This is a good example. The patterns are so cozy and I think they would fit perfectly in anyone's home. These are found at Anthropologie.
