I have a slight obsession with bags and always love looking for them in stores, though I rarely buy them.

This bag definitely stood out to me because of it's classic design. It has dark brown leather handles, which tones down the fun railroad stripes, making it look a little less nautical. Seams Like Yesterday

Supersoft Legging With Zippers

For the last couple of months, I've had an obsession with wearing leggings for the majority of the week because they're just so comfy and easy to wear.

I like the colour of these because when I wear black shirts, I don't like to wear black leggings with it, so these would create a good contrast between the two pieces. Teal Twirl

Hey Readers!
Teal is one of my favourite colours...unless I look at it for too long, which then makes me think it looks tacky. But other than that, I love teal. It's a pretty mixture of green and blue, leaning more towards green.

So you have probably noticed that I love dresses with any kind of flared skirt and that's true! I do love the flared look, not those totally straight dresses that look extremely uncomfortable. Envelope Crossbody

Crossbody bags are my favourite type of bag. Why? Well, they're so easy to carry and are amazing compared to tote bags because you don't have to worry about them falling off your shoulder and being in that awkward position of the bag halfway down your arm (and not in a good way).

Flight Hearted

Now I've already told you about my obsession with birds, so it's not a surprise that I am IN LOVE with this particular dress!

The taupe colour really makes the green and blue birds pop and I don't even find the ribbon necessary, but it still goes well with the design. This is one of my favourite dresses I've ever seen and it looks so lively even though it contains mostly neutral colours. I think this could be worn to a casual event, but also to a formal event. Solrun

Hi Readers!
So I used to have an obsession with sewing and it also gave me a lot of inspiration and made me more creative. The most fun part of sewing for me, was picking out the fabric. Going into a fabric store and being swallowed by all the bright colour and textures was like heaven to me.

I recently saw this fabric and was in love with it! This reminds me so much of Spring with the flowers blooming! I love that it's more like watercolour shapes instead of prominent flowers. The colours are an amazing mixture, and I couldn't help myself and went ahead and purchased a few metres to hopefully sew a pillow case or hand bag.  This fabric just gives me so much inspiration and I love, love, love it. Now I know what you're thinking...another dress? But yes, dresses actually inspire me a lot just by their fabric, even though I don't own a lot of them.

This dress in particular caught my eye because of the innocent "school-girl" colours. I love how there's a little bit of a billow where the yellow and red meet because that just gives it a more relaxed look. Mini Latte Bowls

During January and February seems to be very long for me with the overcast sky and cold air. This is why I like to have brighter colours surrounding me, to brighten my mood.

Coral Concert

I love bright colours in the warmer months because that's what makes clothes exciting and interesting to look at. They are also proven to boost your energy and make you happier, which is always a plus! 

This dress caught my eye right away due to it's colour. High necklines are amazing in my opinion because they make a colourful dress look more classy. Plum & Bow Bird Blossom

Hey everyone!
I've recently become obsessed with birds prints. I find they just look really clean and natural and having prints of them on normal objects accentuates the beauty of our everyday creatures.

Waking up to this duvet everyday would honestly brighten my morning. I love the cream base which gives the room a warmer feel, and I especially like the pop of colour from the bird! Kati Mug

Hi Everyone!
Tea is a great drink to reenergize and calm yourself at the same time. I love drinking it when I'm cold or reading a book. There are so many different kinds of teas but I especially love Vanilla Rooibos!

 
I love these designs because they're so earthy and natural. Also, since I've confessed my love for the colour green in an earlier post, this is no surprise that I chose these two mugs as my favourites, with "Birdsong" being my favourite. These are 12 oz. ceramic mugs with stainless steel infusers which brew loose leaf tea perfectly. The lid that comes with it keeps the drink warm in case you won't be getting around to drinking it for a while. Fun and Only Dress

Hello everyone! 

Now, I'm really loving green this year. It's because, in my eyes, green is a fresh, happy, warm colour that reminds me so much of freshly cut grass on a Spring day. I love the cleanness of the colour and I think I'm going to be buying of clothes in green this year!

Now, I love an in between of light and medium coloured green, like this dress above. I like the neckline and curve of the straps the dress has which adds a uniqueness to it. I especially love the white bow in the middle, stitching in the waist because it adds a touch of Summer to it. White is an awesome Summer colour that never grows old! I can just picture this dress at a fun family reunion picnic. The flare of the bottom of this dress is subtle, which makes it a little more elegant, perfect for a more dressy, but fun occasion. Homegrown Monogram Mugs

You should probably know that I have a little obsession with mugs! I've taken pottery classes and now fully appreciate the art and form of a mug.

 

I personally LOVE these mugs because the form is really unique. It subtly goes out a little at the middle and has a pretty small handle, but that's why I like it so much. It's different from all the mugs I've seen before and to make a good product you have to be different from everyone else. This is a good example. Demure and Simple

Hello everyone!
I'm so excited to start posting content on this new blog. I have lots of posts lined up for you to read and basically what they're going to be about are things that I've seen that either inspires me, or makes me happy. That's it. I thought that I could enjoy something like this because what else is better than talking (erm, writing) about something you love?

Today's post is about a dress that I am in love with it! It's a simple, yet fun and cheery, enough to brighten any mood with it's slightly flared bottom and high neckline. I love that it stitches in at the waist, and you could easily add a thin belt to add more character. This dress screams "SPRING!" to me with it's red floral design. Floral patterns are what draw me into stores in the Spring and Summer, because they are just so versatile! Wear this at a dance, party, or day out- it doesn't matter.
